Research Interests

Keiko's research focuses on silk textiles and business practices from 20th century Kyoto, with a specific emphasis on yuzen dyeing.   Her research interests in yuzen and textile printing have also led to a focus on innovative inkjet printing, which has become a prominent topic in recent discussion.
