Keiko studied textile dyeing and weaving at an art college and received a further training in a yuzen dyeing studio in Kyoto. In the 1990s, she contributed to textile development for Western-style clothing in collaboration with mills and dyeing houses across various Japanese manufacturing centers in Japan. In her spare time, her creative activities have consistently revolved around kimono textiles, exploring various media, such as textiles, solar plate etching and haiga painting on Japanese rice paper. In recent years, she has been providing textile designs for inkjet printing.
